EFFECTIVE IMMEDIATELY:
Schedule Updated: 10/12/07
Effective immediately
The LaBelle arena is now following the below practice schedule:
Lights are turned on only when someone is physically at the arena (when it gets dark) & then must be turned off when the last person leaves (no later than 9:00 p.m.). We are not allowed to turn the lights on if no one is present at the arena so please try to be at the arena by dark so that the few volunteers we do have available to turn on the lights are not having to make multiple trips up to the arena to turn on the lights. Unfortunately, we are not allowed to set the lights on the timer anymore per the Hendry County Recreation board of directors.
Mondays--SLOW PRACTICE ONLY--horse may be ridden at a lope or a slower pace only-- 6-9 PM
Tuesday---Speed practice 6-9 PM
Wed--4H Member practice night only. You must be a 4H member to practice.
Thursday--Speed practice 6-9 PM
Saturday--dawn to dusk--open practice MUST CALL for arena to be unlocked OPEN PRACTICE- when no other events are being held @ the arena
Someone will be at the arena @ dark to turn on the lights.
If there is no one at the arena when they arrive to turn on the lights then they will not be allowed to turn them on.
You can always call ahead to let someone know you're coming to practice if you want to make sure the lights are turned on when you get there.
